You can find the original recipe on my sister's blog. I've made a printable for you so just print these out and attach it to your gift so your recipient knows how to finish making these amazing scones! And, just for a teaser, I made some this morning so you can have a picture of the finished product.
In a small bowl, combine:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
3 Tablespoons sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place this in a bag or container of choice and seal.
In a smaller bag, place:
1/2 cup craisins
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Place this smaller bag on top of the dry ingredients. Attach the recipe card below.
*I have never made a printable before, so this is sort of a trial run. Please, let me know if you trouble with it, as I'm not really sure what I'm doing!*
Scone Mix Printable
This is such a great idea! Everyone always loves these scones and then asks for the recipe.
ReplyDeleteGot it! Don't worry about emailing me the recipe. These were SO GOOD. I might have to make mine for a Valentine's morning treat!
ReplyDeleteA printable is such a great idea! These would be perfect for teachers are co-workers... so much tastier than those dry mixes of breads and cakes. And more fun than chocolates!
ReplyDeleteHi Lauren! Wanted to let you know that you inspired me. Although I did not have all of the ingredients on hand I did try this recipe with some changes. Here are my China substitutes :) .... instead of craisins I used cranberries brought in by a friend; chocolate chips as I have yet to find white choco chips in our city; and a substitute for half and half found on google :). I'm sure that may be considered a whole new recipe, but, well, ya gotta use what ya have! :) They turned out pretty good. Thanks for the inspiration. Been looking for something special to do with my cranberries.
