Welcome to my 'Only From Scratch' life.  You'll find a mixture of topics here from cooking, to decorating, to parenting, to thoughts about my walk with the Lord.  As a mother of four young children my days are full of struggles and joys.  I enjoy sharing the lessons I learn along the way in hopes that it will encourage others and point them to Jesus.

I have a wonderful husband and we delight in our four beautiful children, three girls and one little boy with Down Syndrome.

I never would've thought that my life would look like it does now.  But that's the beauty of it: God takes us and shapes us into what He wants us to be, all of it 'from scratch'.  The journey I'm on isn't always easy but I can find joy in it as I trust the Lord to lead and guide me along the way.
